Bullet time

  • I am full of Whittaker's Cashew Nut chocolate, it isn't as good as the almond flavour.
  • The books arrived in the shop today. It is all I can do to resist rolling around in them. There is one about Helvetica. Mmmmm. Me wanty the books.
  • I have been weeding the garden. It is almost ready for mulch. I know that is almost as exciting as talking about boobs.
  • I ordered some grog today for our shop opening, which I guess means we're going to have a shop opening.
  • Now I am going to do some invoicing.
  • I intend to resume martini-ing and drunken blogging soon.

I apologise for influencing the first, and I TOTALLY intend to influence the second. Martinis made with gin as part of Colonial India on Saturday please?

Loving the other Wanda Harland website already. Looking forward to those martinis.

On that topic, must try to get a decent recipe for a chocolate martini that doesn't involve Bailey's. Any recommendations?

Well, I did have a lovely choc martini once that had that clear chocolate spirit whose name I can't remember, lots of vodka, chilled and served with a couple of coffee beans in a chilled glass and a pocky swizzler... but now I just drink my martinis dirrrrty.

A chocolate martini:

1. Optional: wash your glass with butterscotch schnapps
2. Shake 1 shot creme de cacao (either brown or clear) and 2 shots vodka (plain or vanilla) over ice
3. Serve!
