Car update

I love the car so much. It is lovely and clever and one of the better things in our possession. Seat warmers - genius, beep beep - genius, tan fuzzy ceiling - genius, little gizmo that tells you how much fuel you're using - potentially enough to make you go crazy with thrift. Bless Japanese imports for giving povos like us the opportunity to own a nice wagon.

I drove down to the children's bookshop for Spot's birthday party in the car. Normally I would walk the whole 5 blocks.

The party was nice. Spot was big and cute and Finn hugged him (aw, where's the camera?). There was story reading and lollipops. All very convivial (if you're 2 anyway).

Lucky you - we're still driving the dirty old skoda (it is by no means any longer a brand new car - I hope they weren't planning to sell it).

goodness knows where the part to fix our car is coming from, it's been weeks.

Ooooooooooooh, you were there ... So were we (Jack & I). In fact we were first in (mis-timed the bus by 30mins, oops).
Jack did NOT like Spot and was very scared - poor sod. He was terribly brave though and had to wait to see Spot go as he watched from the cafe over the road.

Will post up the few piccies I took in the next day.

we were in Petone, so a different gig I imagine. There were only about 12 people at our little party, so I would probably have recognised you (and blushed and freaked out about what is the correct blog etiquette when meeting someone you know, but don't).

I hear there is a big fair over in Newtown this weekend with BJ Bear, Nigel Kennedy the Magician and others. Ms R is a big fan of Nigel but a bit suspicious of BJ; as a parent you gotta be a bit worried buy big hairy fellas called BJ.

Ha ha ha - I think we're only allow to write on a piece of paper our greetings until a non-Blogger actually introduces us.
I think the smaller do would've suited the wee fella a lot more. There would've been around 50 kids and probably as many if not more servants (parents, caregivers etc).

Maybe we'll meet at a Wiggles gig or some such ... ;-)
