New glasses

New glasses

My new glasses are splendidly shiny, don't fall off my face, allow me to see more detail than I'm altogether comfortable with on other people's skin, and I'm not squinting at all! I can feel the wrinkles at the corners of my eyes sigh a breath of relief, and vanish.

Okay, so I'm dreaming.

Update: It has been pointed out to me by a couple of people that I look a bit scary in this picture. It is quite odd, because that is exactly how I look like to myself in the mirror, but I suppose I must look friendlier when I'm talking and so on. And you know what? I'll never know what my back looks like either.

Your new glasses rock!
I luuuurve glasses. I'd have a pair for every outfit if my bank account would permit.
I'd eventually like to get laser surgery so I could actually see, but then I'm pretty sure I'd just get glasses with no lenses in them just so I could keep wearing them. Sad huh?
Anyway, ultra funkiness with the new specs.

Edna Everage.
I say this with love.

I used to need really thick lenses, so whenever I thought I'd picked out a fab new pair of spectacle frames I was invariably disappointed at how I looked when the lenses were in.

Those are very styley frames!

I feel really sorry for Goldstein of the ASB ads. He's still wearing those giant round glasses that were fashionable in the early '90s. Why can't they let him get a cool pair with thick black rectangular frames?
