Holidays
The kids are going fucking ballistic. These holidays have been terrible, rain is a complete killjoy, add to it raging wind, a 3 year old and a 5 year old, and you have a recipe for disaster.
They've decided to speak at full volume ALL DAY LONG AND ALL MORNING AND ALL NIGHT.
Finn: "SOME PUPPIES LIKE OURS ARE MAORI AYE"
Malo: "YEAH"

Ha ha ha ha - had the same today (I don't "work" Thursday's but let Liz do it as I have the kids). We attempted town/Cable Car but I had a squealing Jack (wind blowing him over) and a forever shouting (no reason) Meg.
So glad when Liz came back and they went to bed - ahhhhh
It is such a bugger, I was really looking forward to these holidays, and I'm exhausted!
Stop blogging and go to bed ...
Jon Stewart, Mike, he keeps me going.
lolol
Oh, I feel your pain - however am not setting up a shop during the day, so really have no idea of your level of tiredness at this point! Kia kaha.
Try six months hahahhahaha we may be in glamourous - sounding locales but sometimes I just want a holiday from my holiday, ie from parenthood! Just for an hour, to walk up a hill without a battle.
Our two take turns speaking at FULL VOLUME in public places, which is great when they say things like DID YOU SEE THAT MAN??!!!
Ayayay.
However, I wouldn't change a thing.
BTW yes - saw jonn stewart for the first time on this trip - he rocks!
: ) x Wendy
Oh Wendy, I can only imagine. Holidays are relentless with the kiddies aye? When you come back you can send them off to Steiner with wee Malo...
He has started, and loves it. They're a bit reluctant to start him on mornings though, which is a bloody bugger. We're just going to have to be very persuasive...
My eldest is at the Steiner Kindy in Thorndon. They only do mornings (8.30 - 12.30), though it's limited to Mon and Tues for 3 year olds, and Wed to Fri for 4 and 5 year olds. Older ones can do a full day 1 day a week. I'm their marketing person so I feel duty bound to mention all that... :)
Afternoon kindy never worked for us, my kids like their afternoon naps too much.
I first discovered your blog through doing a blog search for "Petone" and "Kindy". How about that.
...Now we've moved on to agonising over primary schools....Korokoro, Wilford...Petone Central...
Maybe it would be easier if we didn't have any choice!
PS The FULL VOLUME thing...what a relief to know it's not just my two!
...MUM WHY HASN'T THAT MAN GOT ANY HAIR?!
If it helps at all, Finn is at Wilford, and likes it a lot. We like it too.
:)) Good to know.
Thanks!
