Lovely big deck

Our beautiful deck is finished. The builder was fantastic and has done a marvellous job. I think he is probably a bit sick of me raving, but it is so lovely. I will post some photos when I convince Glen that we need to upgrade our flickr account - I've filled it up already this month.

We had some wines on it last night, but as it was a fairly freezing cold evening it was a brief session.

A nice Chiminea could be in order.

I thought you were referring to one of those nice Belgium beers, but so as not to embarrass myself I checked google - and lo! A chimney. I don't think so, we'd probably burn down the lovely deck.

Guess you couldn't use it today, huh? Didn't step outside the door today myslef and had a nice fire going the whole time. Me and little R's watched Shrek 2 and dreamed of summer....your deck will be well used in time.

We had a slight variation on your day. Watched a bit of Shrek while at LV Martins checking out coffee grinders, and are sitting in front of our nice new gas fire (which has flames like a real one - our own wee tribute to the 70s).

Day has gone downhill a bit this evening though with Glen puking his guts out with the kids tummy bug - which has been plaguing us all for a week now.

We have a neat Delongi grinder - works great a few notches down from fine. Don't know how to link this in a window but:

Got it from Harvey Norman.
Hope your fella is better - we all had the same thing for a few days. Drawbacks of kids - diseases and food in the bed....
