Tarnation

Our house isn't worth millions of dollars. Big of a bugger, but nevermind.

I'll just have to get back to printing the 144 (gasp!) shirts that a shop has ordered.

And work out how to do a packing slip (I'm trying very hard to look professional).

just imagine your rates if your house was worth $2m.

actually, best not to...

The thing about packing slips is you should really do one for each package that you send. Are all 144 shirts going into one package? If so, much easier.

Did you say you were managing your orders via MS Excel? (or wait, maybe that was your stock). If so you could do the packing slip as a mailmerge off that probably. I think you can even do it in Excel itself but I don't know how.

You've probably got lots of tech help around you, but if I can help, let me know

Martha, I have no doubt in my mind that one day you will rule a commercial empire and live in a house worth much more than $2M. Keep up the good work!!!

Noizy, I guess if my house was worth 2 mill, the rates would be a drop in the bucket...

Thanks Cathi, I'll probably just cut and paste the list from Excel or something - I usually can find someones around the place to copy.

Carmenzta, you are so sweet! The problem with your vision is that I have a lot of ideas, but not that much ambition... It is keeping me happy though.

I introduced my in-laws to Volutive for their home business - it does quick and easy invoices, has a stock system and (I think) had a despatch note feature. It is freeware and can be got from http://www.binarema.com It is pretty easy to use once you've set it all up but does take a bit of getting used to.

Ace! Thanks so much for that. I'll get the office manager onto it (aka Glen).
