So, erm politics

Now, I'm not going to get all political on your arses. I'm pretty sure that is not what you come here for.

However, I cannot resist pointing out that this is an election year. And it appears to be a fairly vulnerable one for Labour. Which they have known for some time. Knowing full well how vulnerable they are this election year, if there was all this spare moolah in the kitty for tax cuts - wouldn't they have just given them?

In fact, everyone except rich people and the Opposition seem fairly well appraised of this fact, so I trust dear readers you will all endeavour to keep Don Brash well away from the seat of power.

Not to mention that Helen Clark is a total babe - check out the Australian Women's Weekly. I think she'll be grabbing a whole new demographic.

Certainly gets me going. Not.

I don't know why they bother - no-one could possibly vote for any NZ politician based on looks. Surely? Maybe we do need more babes (female and male) in parliament...

Pinko Pacifists would be goodlooking. We could have plastic surgery as a platform.

.... no. It's not entering my brain!
The pictures I mean ... and the prospect that ANY politician, in any world, in any time can be considered a "babe" is not right.

Politicians are, by definition, the sad monkeys that at school that would've been ignored by all (pupils and teachers) and therefore want to change the world because, "It just wasn't fair!"

They are never part of the beautiful people.

Ever.

Laila Harré came close but ... no.
And maybe the Aussie Senator, Natasha Stott Despoja, but cute-ish ... but still, no

No.

Actually, Natasha is still quite a babe ... but Aussie!

Hello! Cicciolina! Porn star!

I quite fancy Cicciolina as a name for the cart actually.

Oh, now I'm trying to think of a hot male politician... ermmmmm... shit. I'm not even that fussy.

Hey, did you see Jamie Oliver diss Clinton. Niiice.

And Natasha with the Dalai Lama. So Richard Gere. She looks a little too earnest, and I believe that is where the politicians fall flat. They're either earnest or corrupt, and neither are very sexy.

Oh since i'm now 18 - Guess it will be my first time voting. Mind you I wouldn't have a clue who to vote for.....

Cicciolina - she's not even human let alone a politician ... or is that the same thing.

They're either earnest or corrupt ... - yeah, true. But I wouldn't mind her being all earnest over me and definitely wouldn't mind a bit of Natasha corruption.

pink flamingo: Ach, vote for whoever first comes to mind. No point beating yourself up about it, they're all much the same really.
