Ain't nothin' going on but the rent

I've been reclining since lunchtime. My dodgy stomach hit again. Ah well, prior to the ache I spent the morning scoffing scones and having a lovely chat, so it wasn't a wasted day.

I've been doing business from my bed. To be frank, this is my ideal locale, and I imagine when the kids are both at school I'll be hard pressed to find a better spot to work. It is sunny, comfortable and very handy should I feel like changing my outfit or having a nap.

I haven't had so much time to mooch on the computer for a while, and bloody good thing it is. I keep finding things to buy, and not good things that will make my business grow and increase my wealth, but bad things that will make my house pretty and my mortgage huge. Latest find is this divine set of cutlery THAT I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED and I'm certain we need. It is 40% cheaper than in NZ, and you know when you make savings like that, they're virtually giving you money.

I'm not one to turn down free money now, am I?

Nooo. You can't get those - I like you too much to jealously hate you.

But I live to make you jealously hate me, and you have an inner city apartment, which I jealously hate you for, so really, I'm just even-ing the score.

I love you Martha (well I don't as I've never met you and one woman is well enough for me - but anyway). I lived in Denmark for awhile during a fairly depressing relationship period (yada yada) - Anyway - I fell in love with Danish design (and out of love ith one particular dane!) in particular the georg jensen cutlery - I've been trying to find a set ever since

i want to bid (but i know i won't)

have you ever checked out the borge mogensen spanish chair? it is seriously beautiful. or the ph lampshades? i sel IQ lamps (check out trademe under ben67 - they're danish but not quite up to jacobsen - drop me a line if you're keen on some - I'll cut you a danish deal!

Cripes, that chair is pretty special. And extremely pricey!

I'm okay for lampshades (although yours are very tempting) - heart is set on a Kartell, although Glen is arguing for a Trubridge...

Trubridge is nice (and made here to boot)

Yes indeed the spanish chair is nice - i've been meaning to make a couple of replicas for years - i'll get round to it one day
