Sorry
I'm going to have to put in that annoying letter thingy when you comment. I've been good and deleting all the crap, but to be honest I'm a bit sick of it.
I apologise, I know it is a nuisance, and I don't want to deter anyone from commenting.
So go on. Make a comment.

I wondered how you survived without it for so long! Don't worry, I for one would much rather enter some arbitrary letters than accidentally read evil spam.
Although have you noticed that sometimes the 'words' are really long?
Yeah, don't stress about people being put off - most people have it on their own blogger blogs now-a-days anyway.
I've not noticed a decline from my average 2 or 3 comments :-)
Undeterred I comment even though I have nothing at all to say...
A necessary hassle as the spam, it keeps a coming....and I have an 8 letter code this time just to rub salt in the wounds!
8! Half the time I can't even read what the letters are.
And it seems wrong to have to do word verification on your own blog.
Ben, you're onto it. Hopefully blogger will remember legit posters soon.
It's also a handy way of ensuring that drunken people don't post comments. Like, no one wants a lot of comments telling you that you're their bestest bestest friend ever. Or challenging you to a fight 'cos they think you spilled their beer.
lol - wouldn't that cut out half of Martha's posts? hehe
You're right about them being hard to read. I feel blinder than usual. Although it is amusing when they come up with semi dodgy letters - like arsemen.
The last one I had to enter was "minge". Surely they would have some sort of a scheme that knew not to use dodgy words.
Ha ha ha ha ... nice one Stephen.
And for this one I have a comment on the record (vinyl) industry, "epbye"
David, I do want drunk people posting how much they love me. That is the whole point of this blig, although everyone seems to have missed it.
They're supposed to have got rid of dodgy words with the 3 letter number plates, but I've seen plenty of "AAS", which is nice.
Ours is CFQ - for some reason when I read it I think of "see, fuck you".
I've moved beyond having a blog. I write a blig now.
I enjoy the challenge of figuring out the letters. I also enjoy filling out forms. It's terribly sad...
