TGIF
Inspired by Hers, here is Friday night at our place.
I have finally got a pile of really lovely clothing that I have owned for a ridiculously long time, and has always been ugly anyway, together to take to the Child Cancer bin.
I'm not sure who wants really heinous tie-dyed clothes from India, or a very high waisted pair of jeans, or ugly duvet covers. I finally realise that I don't.
How liberating.

Yes! We did the clothes thing earlier in the week. It's really quite exciting and empowering to chuck stuff out.
And then you can buy more stuff to fill up the gaps.
You're getting rid of tie dyed clothes!
Have you gone mad?
Org you dark horse. You've been duly updated, I love your new blog. Very sophis.
Hers, I am much inspired to buy some nice new clothes. If I did that, perhaps I could throw out even more. As I type I'm wearing a t shirt I got for my 16th birthday, which is pretty sad.
And David - I'll never be so hasty again, next time I'll send them to you.
Hi Martha. Did you have a good time at the Jackson St. carnie yesterday? I saw yah wiv yr. husband and entourage, but I was too far away and walking in the opposite direction ;).
It was good, but sadly not great. Needed a few more stalls I reckon. Did you have a good time?
Good on ya Martha, chucking the junky stuff and leaving empty spaces in the wardrobe, just waiting for you to go shopping and fill the gaps...yay. Being recently 'cleansed' in this manner, I can smile and think: attagirl.
