Warning - this one is for the ladies
And before you guys get excited, it is not about boobs, smear tests or jelly wrestling.
The other day my sister-in-law, who is very gorgeous, told me about some Origins product which gives you a natural version of micro-dermobrasion. It is called Modern Friction. So I dutifully went off to Kirks (ever hopeful that by using the same product I will end up gorgeous too). The nice Origins lady spent a goodly amount of time massaging this stuff into my hand while I made appropriate appreciative noises. I was pretty sold on the stuff. My left hand looked young and un-nappy-ruined. The price for this miracle? $94. Well, I may be able to spend ridiculous amounts of money on paint and timber, but the price was a little too rich for my palate.
So I checked eBay. For the exact same product, brand new, $18.99. I may never go into a normal shop again.

Yeah, flag normal shops - I found some Dermalogica stuff on trademe at bargain prices :)
Now I just need to save up a bit of money for some ghd straighteners and I'll be all sunshine.
You know what they say about cheap curry right?
I've bought heaps of stuff from eBay, Timberland boots, Birkenstock shoes, fuzzi bunz (the kids nappies). All without fail at least half the price they are here, and I haven't had any problems yet. Fingers crossed with this lot!
Oh for a little pre baby youthfulness. Keep us updated if you get the product, no hogging if it suddenly makes you look 20 and fabulous. However if your face falls off, you did it for all of us!
Well if you're feeling flush, I can definitely vouch for the stuff, and my sister in law is a babe.
And I'll let you know how the magic potion I get from the US goes. I'm wildly optimistic. 10 years in 10 days here I come.
There's an Elizabeth Arden one that sounds like it does the same thing.
Once upon a time Ms Arden enjoyed half my student loan money. Oops. Not anymore!
I've given up trying these 'miracle' products. The inevitable disappointment made me cranky, thereby defeating promised line-erasing properties. Bummer, that.
Ebay, TradeMe - wonderful inventions!
I was once a pharmacy girl, and I did a 3 day Elizabeth Arden training course. Haven't touched it since.
And Lippy, I agree. I've made $400 this last week towards the dream dining table.
Yayayyayay.
Have been tipped off to fabulous site - www.strawberrynet.com - go now!
Ta Jessie, I have ordered from them in the past. They're really good for sending gifts overseas.
Some of their ranges are a bit limited unfortunately - not much MAC, which I like.
