Bit Torrent

I've finally worked out how to use the ole Bit Torrent thing. I'm pretty amazed and impressed. What I need now is some recommendations of interesting viewing, as I haven't really got my finger on the pulse of the international viewing market.

Please tell me what you've enjoyed. Or think I would enjoy.

Then as the website suggests, I'll buy some legitimate scratched copies and have to find back ups for them (ahem).

ok, i've let myself loose in geekdom, but i highly recommend the new battlestar galactica series. start with the miniseries. seriously, it's one of the best shows on teevee.

(blush. i've so just embarrassed myself from halfway around the world. wow. that just might be a record.)

also, the american version of the office is hysterical.

oh oh, and project runway, if you like reality tv with a semi-brain.

Firefly & Serenity

Second the Galactica suggestion.

Mr Reasonable swears by Prison Break. I've not quite got around to it.

Must investigate Firefly too. Joss Whedon, he of Buffy, doing a space western. Everybody loves space westerns, don't they?

I tried to find the miniseries of BSG on TorrentSpy, but they were all either too big or not being streamed. I'll persist though. Obviously it is worth it!

I don't really like Battle Star Galactica. It's very bleak and quite violent- although my husband loves it.

Arrested Development is absolutely hilarious. I also really like the IT Crowd- by the same guy who wrote Father Ted- which I think might even be officially available somewhere.

try Weeds - stars a soccer mom who finds herself alone, needs cash, and starts dealing dope on the sly to her neighbours, to make ends meet. Like desperate housewives, but funny. Stars Mary Louise Parker...
"Nancy Botwin is a mother living in suburban California, whose husband suddenly dies, leaving her to support her two children. Nancy begins dealing "weed" to locals of her suburb, Agrestic, to maintain her upper-middle class lifestyle. " from wikipedia
