Johnny Depp is unspeakably cool
We watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory today. I love love loved it. It was hilarious, the way Willy Wonka ingnored Mike Teevee, the glass elevator.
Brilliant.

I am an old fashioned kind of gal that is truly in love with the first the original but love the Depp.
Just seen Napoleon Dynamite and could be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Unfortunately it seems to be what all the cool kids are finding wet yourself funny, does this mean I am officially old and warty?
Johnny? Join the queue, sisters.
Napoleon Dynamite is DRY DRY DRY. Very dry. But all the cool kids saw it about two years ago; they wouldn't be caught dead any more in a Vote For Pedro t-shirt like the guy I saw on Lambton Quay the other day.
(c'mon, you can't mean you didn't find the bit where Pedro constructs a piniata of his student presidency race nemesis and then invites people to whack the shit out of it, funny? Whasswrongatyou?)
Vote for Pedro!
We watched a clip from Napolean Dynamite in my class last week, and I thought it looked pretty appealing. It was the dance sequence. Priceless.
