Shhhh...
Secret!
I've been very quiet about a date I have next week. I haven't really told any of my friends... we're going to the Rolling Stones...
And then a friend admitted to me they're going - and it turns out there are at least half a dozen of us going to be there.
Rock on baby.
What has prompted this admission? They're playing the Rolling Stones on C4, and it is bloody marvellous.
I'm getting excited.
Anyone else care to share?

'tis not a shameful thing!
(ok, it is!)
p.s. don't worry - it will take me at least a decade to get to grips with wordpress and all the fancy stuff...besides, i learnt how to put an image in my banner by looking at your source code, o' majestic leader! so, cheers!
The Rolling Stones were very big here in the 1960s. I am pleased that their music has finally reached Petone.
word be that next year we be getting elektrickitty, witchcraft i tells ya.
Ms Chick, pleased to be an inspiration. I'll copy you in turn and try and learn about this thing you call wordpress.
The Rolling Stones are a bunch of sad old men who haven't made a good record since about 1970. They should stay at home playing bingo and talking dissaprovingly about "young people these days" rather than inflicting a lot of 40 year old songs on people.
Granted, they were in their 50s when I last saw them, but I suspect they've still got it.
So I'll just leave you to listen to your James Blunt.
No way,no need to hide, I would love to go. I told my friend about this and she has been taunting me since with comments like "Oh God do not go, you will only encourage them to come back again"
It will rock, have a great time!
It seems like nearly everyone is going- but not me. I'm a rugged individualist and anyway I saw them in the 80s at Western Springs (or maybe just Mick Jagger)...I don't remember it being bad but nor do I remember it being good. In fact I don't remember much about it all except I think the Mongrel Mob were there. Maybe that's the night I finally outgrew drinking rum and coke?!?
