I heard a little bit of The Bats on indiespinzone.com. mamalikey! The only thing i know about them is that they're from NZ. Too bad they're not coming to Philly. I would have seen 'em.
So, is there a rivalry between Aussie and Kiwi bands - like American vs. Canadian?
Not so much. Lots of kiwi bands head over to Melbourne to try and make some money, then they head back and get day jobs and have babies.
I adore the lucksmiths and like a lot the go-betweens. i'll give the bats a closer listen, thanks to you!
